Fibre

Ok so not the prettiest subject to talk about, but essential for becoming Size HH! Fibre keeps us feeling fuller and more satisfied for longer. There are two types of fibre, soluble (can be digested) and insoluble (cannot be digested).

By eating a variety of fruit, vegetables and wholegrains every day, you should have enough of both types. If you don’t eat much fibre at the moment, it’s important not to rush off and stuff yourself with loads in a bid to ‘cleanse’ as this will only result in bloating and wind! Definitely not what we want, so start with small changes such as:

Leaving the skins on potatoes, veg and fruits where possible

Having porridge and/or fruit for breakfast instead of a muffin, or sugary cereal

Eating more fresh fruit and vegetables everyday
